Mr C.E Bardwell.
Born and educated in Western Australia, and became interested in radio work
while living at Broome in 1933. He took a correspondence course with Marconi
School, completing training at the Sydney School in 1937.
He joined the Marine Department, and in 1939 transferred as junior instructor
to the Melbourne School, and 3 years later was in charge of the School.
This year (1949) he was appointed Manager in Sydney.
Hobbies are gardening and radio.
A.H Gray.
Graduated Marconi School in 1927. Joined Marine Service in 1929 and was
attached to overseas and coastal vessels. In 1932, with Bulolo Gold Dredging
Co. New Guinea, as OIC of their radio station. Rejoined the Marine Service
in 1935. Transferred to Sydney in 1938, and was appointed Senior Instructor
March,1949.
E.J Glaisher.
Born and educated in Melbourne. Left in 1914 with the First Division of the
A.I.F and saw active service in Gallipoli and France. Entered the Melbourne
School in 1919 and entered the Marine Department the following year. In 1938
transferred to the Melbourne School as Instructor, later Instructor in
Charge. Appointed to Sydney School in 1941.
Hobbies are literature and good music, various handicrafts and walking.
