- When many different loads are running in a distribution system, their combined usage of electricity is called the Aggregate Load.
- Aggregated Loads will obey Ohm's Law to a greater or lesser extent. In the Australian suburbs it is impossible for Ohm's Law to be negligible at times of non-peak-demand, especially for customers on low incomes: these people have the most primitive appliances and the most vulnerability of their electricity bills being severely influenced by high voltage.
- Recalling that P (power) is proportional to V2 for resistance (impedance) loads, the mathematical index here is 2. By convention, this is called a Voltage Dependency index of 2. See Karlsson & Hill(1)
