Short history
The Marconi Telefunken College of Telegraphy opened on the 8th of August 1913, on the 4th of August 1914 the name changed to the Marconi School of Wireless, which operated until
31st December 1981, closing with the retirement of Cec Bardwell.
The school was situated at the following locations:

- 21 Pier St Darling Harbour
- Lords Road Leichhardt
- 167 Queen Street Melbourne
- East Hills
- Various military locations in wartime
